Financial advice

Choosing how to take your savings from the DC Section is a big decision, so it’s worth giving yourself plenty of time to go through your options without rushing. Broadly speaking, you have three options to help support you in making your decision.

Information and guidance

From the age of 50, you’re entitled to a free Pension Wise guidance session. This government service is provided by MoneyHelper and is available online, in person or by phone. Your adviser will talk you through the different options and help you understand what’s right for you. You can book your Pension Wise appointment at MoneyHelper or ask the Scheme administrator to help arrange one for you.
